A Long Road for Perry
Perry was picked up by animal control after being hit by a car.
Because of the severity of his fractures, saving the right front leg is not possible and it was amputated. After that, he will need to have a lot of care including acupuncture and laser therapy to try to restore nerve function.
Perry is recovering from his surgery to remove his leg and to be neutered. He is pretty painful right now, he will be brought to his foster home where he will be on high level pain medication to try and control the pain.
Thank you all for your support and your donations. We couldn't possibly help Perry and other dogs like him without your generous contributions.

Missy Needs Your Help
Missy is a sweet 8-year-old beagle girl that recently came into the Midwest BREW program. She visited the vet a few days ago and she has several conditions that need medical care. Missy tested positive for anaplasmosis, she has a thyroid condition, the right side of her heart is slightly enlarged and she has a Grade III tracheal collapse (flattening of the tracheal rings that affect the respiratory system). She has started medication for her conditions and she is currently resting comfortably in her foster home.
We can only provide the medical attention she requires through your generosity. Please consider making a donation towards her care. The amount is unimportant. Every cent counts. To donate, please click on “Sponsor a Beagle”.
Missy and Midwest BREW thank you for your support.

A Long Road for Perry
Sweet boy Perry could use your help.

Please help us make Scouts days special
UPDATE 03/14/23: Scout had his appointment and diagnostic tests with the veterinary cardiologist a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, the outcome is not as positive as we were hoping for. Scout has severe heart disease (degenerative mitral valve, degenerative tricuspid valve, and pulmonary hypertension) and he has now become part of our Hospice Care Program. Scout will remain with his foster family where he will receive the love and medical care that he requires until the time comes to help him pass.
Once again we appeal to your generosity to help us offset the cost of his medical care. Please consider making a donation to help us continue to provide the best care for Scout. Any amount helps!
Thank you as always for your support.
————————————
Scout is a sweet 9 year old beagle that came into the program with severe glaucoma in both eyes. Scout’s eyes were removed and he is a much happier boy that acts just like any other dog.
Scout is happily waiting for her furever family under the care of his foster family, but as luck has it, he recently started experiencing signs of heart disease. We have scheduled an appointment with a veterinary cardiologist to determine the correct treatment for him, including diagnostics and heart medications.
Please consider making a donation towards his medical expenses. We can only provide him with the care he needs thanks to your generosity. Any dollar counts. The amount is unimportant.
Thank you for helping us help Scout get well and get back on his way to find a furever home.
