Donate To Our Beagles In Need

Rescued beagles need your help! Midwest BREW operates solely on the generosity of people like you. Big or small, every donation helps in our ability to care for these animals. We are an all volunteer organization, and 100% of your donation goes to the care of our animals. Please help us provide medical care, spay/neutering, boarding, food, and transportation to these beagles that have been abused, lost, or surrendered until they find their new home. Your support enables us to create happy endings for beagles. Whether you are interested in making a general donation or sponsoring a particular beagle, your contribution will make a difference!

Midwest BREW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Sponsor a Beagle

Sponsoring one of our beagles is a great way to show your support for Midwest BREW. We rely on the donations of generous animal lovers like you to be able to rescue beagles. In many cases, these homeless dogs require extensive veterinary care—much more than the adoption donation covers. Each beagle that comes into Midwest BREW’s program is brought up to date on shots, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, dewormed, and microchipped. In addition, we must supply flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, any continuing medication, and occasionally even food until that beagle is adopted. Sometimes they are kenneled for brief time until a foster home opens up. If the beagle needs treatment for heartworm, we provide that as well.

Missy Needs Your Help

Missy is a sweet 8-year-old beagle girl that recently came into the Midwest BREW program. She visited the vet a few days ago and she has several conditions that need medical care. Missy tested positive for anaplasmosis, she has a thyroid condition, the right side of her heart is slightly enlarged and she has a Grade III tracheal collapse (flattening of the tracheal rings that affect the respiratory system). She has started medication for her conditions and she is currently resting comfortably in her foster home.

We can only provide the medical attention she requires through your generosity. Please consider making a donation towards her care. The amount is unimportant. Every cent counts. To donate, please click on “Sponsor a Beagle”.

Missy and Midwest BREW thank you for your support.

Please help us make Scouts days special

Update 08/04/23: Scout crossed the Rainbow Bridge where he is free. Thank you to the wonderful foster family that gave him all love and care they could. And many thanks to all that sponsored this wonderful dog.

Scout is a sweet 9 year old beagle that came into the program with severe glaucoma in both eyes. Scout’s eyes were removed and he is a much happier boy that acts just like any other dog.

Scout had his appointment and diagnostic tests with the veterinary cardiologist a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, the outcome is not as positive as we were hoping for. Scout has severe heart disease (degenerative mitral valve, degenerative tricuspid valve, and pulmonary hypertension) and he has now become part of our Hospice Care Program. Scout will remain with his foster family where he will receive the love and medical care that he requires until the time comes to help him pass.

Once again we appeal to your generosity to help us offset the cost of his medical care. Please consider making a donation to help us continue to provide the best care for Scout. Any amount helps!

A Long Road for Perry

Sweet boy Perry could use your help.

Perry was picked up by animal control after being hit by a car.

Because of the severity of his fractures, saving the right front leg is not possible and it was amputated. After that, he will need to have a lot of care including acupuncture and laser therapy to try to restore nerve function.

Perry is recovering from his surgery to remove his leg and to be neutered.  He is pretty painful right now, he will be brought to his foster home where he will be on high level pain medication to try and control the pain.

Thank you all for your support and your donations.  We couldn’t possibly help Perry and other dogs like him without your generous contributions.
